Lauren Rosenthal is an independent reporter and podcast producer based in Minneapolis. Her stories have been published by NPR, ProPublica, Al Jazeera America, National Native News and more. Lauren was the host and lead reporter for the most recent season of “In Deep,” a podcast from American Public Media. This season was set in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Lauren previously worked as an investigative reporter for North Country Public Radio and spent three years reporting from Alaska, where she covered Shell’s attempts to drill for oil in the Arctic. Her work has won numerous honors, including the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi medal for public service journalism. Lauren is a graduate of Yale University.
